Commentator/writer/director ICT, was born in Tibet and escaped into India after Chinese occupation of Tibet. He received his BA in English literature from the University of Delhi in 1982. He worked as a staff reporter for the Indian daily, Indian Express, and later joined the Tibetan Government-in-Exile. He worked as the editor of Tibetan Bulletin, the official journal of the Tibetan Government-In-Exile till 1995. He is currently the director of the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington, D.C. He is a columnist for the Tibetan Review and has contributed to Indian, Tibetan, Swiss and American journals.
